Strategic Bid Manager role working in the central bid function of a major global law firm.
This global law firm is going through a really exciting period of growth. Under new leadership the business development function is going through an exciting period of change and innovation in order to make a greater impact on the business.
In this Bid Manager role you will work as part of a dedicated central bid team which works on the firm’s most important complex cross-border proposals and panel bids. You will lead on bids from beginning to end to a wide variety of blue chip clients across a wide variety of sectors such as financial services, oil & gas, construction/infrastructure and technology. You will lead on bids beginning to end, playing an advisory role to partners on bid strategy, challenging them and developing innovative approaches. You will coach partners and conduct dress rehearsals and take bid feedback. You will also promote and develop best practice and work with the global proposals function to develop processes to improve efficiencies.
You will have a strong track record in bid management, within professional services (ideally within the legal sector). You will have excellent project management and writing skills and the ability to influence and persuade partners. Foreign language skills are always welcome, particularly Mandarin.
